DoubleTree Case Study

Krol Media was hired to promote and coordinate press exposure for the premier social event of the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown’s Grand Ballroom re-opening. The project included creating a media target list, writing press releases and announcements, media outreach, VIP invitations, media coverage, onsite press/media coordination, ribbon cutting, photography and coverage tracking and reporting. Extensive media coverage was secured through Krol Media in all facets of event public relations. Pre-event coverage on local television, radio and print media outlets developed a strong campaign prior to the event. Press attendance and post-event coverage introduced the new venue to the community and showcased the qualities the hotel has to offer to its guests and customers. The work on this project led to a four year working relationship on marketing, advertising and public relations for the hotel.
